Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the ADHD Planner mobile app ("the app"), published by Alim Sourav ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
ADHD Planner is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It is an organisational tool. Its mood check-in is a personal journal feature, not a clinical assessment, screening instrument or diagnosis, and nothing it shows should be used to make decisions about medication, treatment or care. Always speak to a qualified health professional about your health. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, rent or sublicense the app, or attempt to extract, reuse or retrain the machine-learning model bundled inside it as a standalone asset.
2. Your content
Everything you enter — plans, notes, mood entries — stays yours. It is stored on your own device and we neither receive nor claim any rights over it. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
3. Your data is your responsibility
Because the app is local-only, your data lives and dies with your device. We cannot recover a planner that was lost when a phone was reset, broken, or had its app storage cleared, because we never had a copy. Use the app's export feature, and keep your device's operating-system backup enabled, if losing your history would matter to you.
4. Planner+ subscription
The app is free to use. Planner+ is an optional paid subscription, available on Android through Google Play only. There is currently no paid tier on iOS.
What is free
Every planning, mood, insight and reminder feature is free and unlimited, except for the number of Fast Plan runs per day. Free users on Android get 5 Fast Plan runs per day, which resets at midnight in your device's local time zone.
What Planner+ adds
- Unlimited Fast Plan runs
Planner+ does not remove or lock any feature that was previously free, and does not change how or where your data is processed.
Billing terms
- Planner+ is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. The exact price and currency are shown in the app before you confirm, as reported by Google Play for your country.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and your Google Play payment method is charged at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel.
- Cancel any time from the Google Play Store, under Subscriptions — or via the "Manage in Google Play" button in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and you keep Planner+ until that period expires.
- Payment is taken by Google, not by us. We never see your card or billing details.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policy. We cannot issue, reverse or expedite a Play refund. Contact Google Play support for refund requests.
- If Google notifies the app that a subscription has lapsed, been refunded, or entered a billing-problem grace period, Planner+ features revert to the free tier when the entitlement actually ends.
- Price changes, where permitted, are communicated by Google Play in advance and require your consent under Google's rules before they take effect.
Entitlement checks
Whether you have Planner+ is determined by asking Google Play's billing library on your device. There is no account and no server-side verification. If the app cannot reach Google Play — offline, or on a device without Play Services — it falls back to the last entitlement it confirmed, so a paying subscriber is not locked out while offline.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded
- Circumvent, disable or falsify the subscription entitlement check
- Use the app in any way that breaks applicable law or the rules of the app store you installed it from
6. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue the app or any of its features. We will not knowingly push an update that deletes your existing local data; database upgrades are migrated rather than reset. We may stop offering Planner+ to new subscribers, in which case existing subscriptions run to the end of their current period.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that reminders will always be delivered on time, or that the Fast Plan feature will interpret any given text correctly. Reminder delivery depends on your device's operating system, its battery-optimisation settings, and its notification permissions, all of which are outside our control — do not rely on the app alone for anything safety-, health- or legally critical.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the app — including a missed reminder or a lost planner. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim (which, for a free user, is zero).
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or affects your statutory consumer rights.
9. Third-party terms
Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the store you installed it from (Google Play or the Apple App Store) and, where you use voice input, the terms of your device's speech recognition service.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and its courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your country of residence.
